Pyramids: All but two of the pyramids built by the ancient Egyptians have faces inclined at 52° angles. Suppose an archaeologist

discovers the ruins of a pyramid. Most of the pyramid has eroded, but she is able to determine that the length of a side of the square base is 82 m. How tall was the pyramid, assuming its faces were inclined at 52°? Round your answer to the nearest in meter. Show work and explain.

We have a right triangle ( picture is in the attachment ):
  tan 52° = h / 41 m
  h = 41 m · tan 52° = 41 m · 1.27994 = 52.4776 m ≈ 52 m
Answer: height of the pyramid is 52 m.

Answer:

42 units squared

Step-by-step explanation:

break it up into smaller shapes. if you split the big shape at y = 2 and at y=-2, you'll get two triangles and one rectangle.

so the area of the rectangle = l x w

= 4 x 7

= 28

the area of the triangle is ( l x w )/2

= (7 x 2)/2

= 7

the other triangle is the same too

so the area of that is also 7.

now add all areas,

7+7+28 = 42

Normal or natural variations in the quality of production output that are due purely to chance are _____.
nydimaria [60]

Normal or natural variations in the quality of production output that are due purely to chance are common causes.

According to the statement

we have to tell about the that cause which effect the quality and production output in the normal and natural variation.

So, For this purpose, we know that the

Common cause variation is present when the control chart of a process measure shows a random pattern of variation with all points within the control limits. When a control chart shows common cause variation, a process measure is said to be in statistical control or stable.

And due to this cause there is a lot of effect on the natural variations in the quality of production output.

So, Normal or natural variations in the quality of production output that are due purely to chance are common causes.
