<5,4,3 and <2 are congruent because of the alternate interior angle rule. Since you know what <3 and <2 are, you should know that inbetween those two angles are <30 (180-150). Since you know that that angle is <30, you also know the angle above it is <30 because of the vertex rule. Since you know that, you that the angle we just solved for, <1, and <2 have to equal 180º, so in order to solve that do 180-65-30= 85. Therefore, <1= 85º
