Original question is missing the details so I'm attaching the details after searching from internet. (check attached picture)

Let number of competitor = x

Cost per competitor for Straw Bridge contest = $5.50

Then cost for x competitors = 5.50x

Fixed extra expense = 34.60

So total cost for Straw Bridge contest = 5.50x+34.60

Cost per competitor for Card Tower contest = $4.25

Then cost for x competitors = 4.25x

Fixed extra expense = 64.60

So total cost for Card Tower contest = 4.25x+64.60

Total cost for both contests = (5.50x+34.60)+(4.25x+64.60) = 9.75x+99.2

FEA club will charge $10 for entrance per competitor

So total revenue for x competitors = 10x

Now profit for x competitors is give by

Profit = Revenue - cost

Profit = 10x- (9.75x+99.2)

Profit = 0.25x-99.2

Now we have to find profit for 32 competitors so plug x=32 in profit equation

Profit = 0.25x-99.2 = 0.25*32-99.2 = 8 -99.2 =-91.2

Which is negative.

So that means there is no profit. Infact they are still in loss.

Im trash at math sorry
balu736 [363]

Answer:

Step-by-step explanation:

Use vertical angles to help solve the problem. Angles that are across from each other are congruent. For exmaple,  <2 = 85 degrees because the angle across from it is 85 degrees. I assume angle 1 is 95 degrees, so angle 3 would also be 95 degrees.

A pitcher contains 2 liters of liquid. Jin pours 368 milliliters of this liquid into a test tube.
8090 [49]

Answer:

1,632 liters of liquid remain in the pitcher.

Step-by-step explanation:

Given that a pitcher contains 2 liters of liquid, and Jin pours 368 milliliters of this liquid into a test tube, to determine how much liquid is left in the pitcher the following calculation must be performed:

368 milliliters = 0.368 liters

2 - 0.368 = X

1.632 = X

Therefore, 1,632 liters of liquid remain in the pitcher.
