Answer:

B

Explanation:

Original:

We went shopping on saturday, I bought a new shirt

Corrected:

 • We went shopping on Saturday, and I bought a new shirt.
 • We went shopping on saturday! I bought a new shirt.
 • We went shopping on saturday. I bought a new shirt.
 • We went shopping on saturday; I bought a new shirt

This way the comma splice is corrected with a period, a semi-colon, and ect.

boyakko [2]
The word with a negative connotation is discouraging.

When someone is discouraged, they are dispirited, disheartened, and with a lack of enthusiasm; this has a negative implication.

All other options have positive connotations, except maybe bulb, which is pretty neutral.

I hope this helps you!

Why is our world neither a utopia nor a dystopia?
Ganezh [65]
Our world is not a utopia because a perfect world doesn’t exist and there will always be conflict. Since they are both just general ideas or theories of reality, we are not a dystopia either. Many believe that we are slowly going in the direction of dystopia but conflict is more of a cycle that happens and it won’t all happen at once that will lead to certain doom like in a dystopia.
