An array of about some of the thousand stars, which were produced from the similar giant molecular cloud, and are gravitationally associated with each other but in a loose and disorganized manner is known as an open cluster. In comparison to open clusters, the globular clusters are very compactly associated with the help of gravity. In the spiral and irregular galaxies, one can witness open clusters.
