The physical characteristics that determine the exhistance of organisms in aquatic enrironments relate to its pH (which is whether it's acid, neutral or basic), the water clearance (which refers to the particles diluted in it, the presence of toxic substances, etc), the presence of predators (bio chain) and also if there's enough food for the organisms to live, to reproduce and if the water temperature allows them to subsist or if they need to migrate within a year, due to the natural changes.

Could you survive without any of your organ systems? Why or why not?
madreJ [45]
You can live without a functional liver, but then you have to go through dialysis. And you can live even if you have an entire lung removed. The spleen can be removed if it's damaged and you'd still live. However, people without a spleen are more prone to infections.
Also, women can have their uterus removed in a hysterectomy as a treatment for cancer, or other reasons.
But of course, you'd need your heart, brain, at least one lung and one kidney to survive.

Ocean currents are caused by all of the following except:
NikAS [45]
The answer is A: '<span>underwater landslides </span>'. Underwater landslides would cause a wave, rather than a current. Ocean waves are caused by energy passing through water. An ocean current on the other hand is a mass of water moving in a definite direction through another mass of water. This movement is driven by forces that could be derived from surface winds, tidal fluctuations and seawater density contrasts.
