Answer:

1:4, 2:8 and 6:24

Step-by-step explanation:

Okay so you didn't give me the list of ratios so in this question I'm assuming we can make our own equivalent ratios.

First things first we could simply simplify the ratio.

3:12

3/3=1

12/3=4

1:4

Since they're asking for three I'm going to now just multiply so we can create the equivalent ratio.

1:4

1x2=2

4x2=8

2:8

1:4

1x6=6

4x6=24

6:24

These ratios are random but equivalent to 3:12 since you didn't give me the list.

(Hopefully this helped)

Suppose that the cost of drilling x feet for an oil well is C=f(x) dollars. a) What are the units of f'(x)? b) In practical term
antiseptic1488 [7]
A. The term "units" refers to the measurements in the original question or problem. When looking at the question, the units we are measuring are dollars/feet.
B. In this case, the f'(x) means we are looking for the cost (in dollars) to drill the next foot down.
C. Since the cost increases the more feet we drill down, the sign of f'(x) is positive.
