<span>Low GDP often results in recession if it persists. This results in job loss, lower wages being paid to employees as well as investors being reluctant to invest. Governments with low GDP will also experience an increase in unemployment. Depending on where GDP is low can depend on if investors will invest in particular sectors.</span>
