20 jasmine flowers? just do tally marks and count how many times you did them because each tally has five so you subtract the four from the five and count the tallys you have left

If Jenny planted 100 rose flowers in total that would mean she planted 25 jasmine flowers.

Think of it in this way: every 4 rose flowers, she plants 1 jasmine flower. So if you draw 100 little dots (those represent the rose flowers) then every four dots draw a circle around them. In each group there should be 4 dots in each. And if you count each group you will see there are 25 groups.

So for the 100 rose flowers she planted she also planted 25 jasmine flowers.

Rewrite the equation 2x+8y=16 in slope-intercept form
Shkiper50 [21]
The goal is to solve for y. Start by subtracting 2x from both sides. This gives you 8y=-2x+16. Now just divide both sides by 8, which gives you y=-2/8x+16/8. Finally, simplify this to y=-1/4x+2.

Find the lengths the missing side
aalyn [17]

Answer:

 • Long leg = 10√3
 • Short leg = 10
 • Hypotenuse = 20

Step-by-step explanation:

Concept:

Here, we need to know the idea of a special triangle 30-60-90.

A special right triangle is a right triangle with some regular feature that makes calculations on the triangle easier, or for which simple formulas exist.

The ratio between the corresponding side of each angle is 1 : √3 : 2

If you are still confused, please refer to the attachment below for a graphical explanation.

Solve:

30-60-90 ⇔ 1 : √3 : 2

Given the side corresponding to 90° is 20

30° : 90° = 1 : 2

30° : 20 = 1 : 2

30° = 10

30° : 60° = 1 : √3

10 : 60° = 1 : √3

60° = 10√3

Hope this helps!! :)
