Ok so you need to multiply the length, width, and height together for each one.
Bill: 8 x 20 x 6 = 960
Martin: 4 x 15 x 16 = 960
So Bill is right, they both have the same volume.

Bill is correct because  to find the volume of a rectangular prism you have to find the area of the base which is length times width and then you have to multiply it by the height. I did that with the two boxes of makers and the both equal 960 cm cubed, which means bill was right.

Answer:

9 * l = 54

Step-by-step explanation:

You don't need to worry because you are not the smartest, everyone are different, some concepts might be difficult, but will become easy soon....

Here is the answer to your question,

area of a rectangle = length * width

( * = multiplication symbol, specifying as many feel confused )

A = l * w

Here..... A = 54 m², w = 9m

54 = l * 9  or...

9 * l = 54
