Ok so you need to multiply the length, width, and height together for each one.
Bill: 8 x 20 x 6 = 960
Martin: 4 x 15 x 16 = 960
So Bill is right, they both have the same volume.

Bill is correct because  to find the volume of a rectangular prism you have to find the area of the base which is length times width and then you have to multiply it by the height. I did that with the two boxes of makers and the both equal 960 cm cubed, which means bill was right.

Answer:

mean = 70000

SD = 15239

X= 95000

Z  = (X-mean)/ SD

   = (95000-70000)/15239

   = 1.64

Now from Z-Table

% of employees = 100(1-.9495) = 5.02%

Two equivalent ratios for 12/60
Marat540 [252]
If you would like to know two equivalent ratios for 12/60, you can calculate this using the following steps:

12/60 = 12/2 / 60/2 = 6/30
6/30 = 6/2 / 30/2 = 3/15
3/15 = 3/3 / 15/3 = 1/5

The result would be 6/30 or 3/15 or 1/5.
