15 = 5*3   both 5 and 3 are prime numbers since the only numbers that go into 5 and 3 are 1  and themselves so 15 as a product of prime numbers is 5*3

Susan took out a personal loan for $3,500 at an interest rate of 13% compounded monthly. she made arrangements to pay the loan o
Nadya [2.5K]

Susan's monthly payment will be $117.93.

We have Susan take out a personal loan for $3,500 at an interest rate of 13% compounded monthly.

P=3500

r=30%

t=3

<h3>What is the amortization formula?</h3>

A = \frac{P(\frac{r}{12} )}{(1 -(1 +r/12)^{(-12t)}}

Where A is the payment,

P= principal,

r =the annual interest rate

t is the number of years.

use the given value in the formula we get

A = \frac{3500(0.13/12)}{(1 -(1 +0.13/12)^{-36} }

A=117.9288

A= 117.93

Susan's monthly payment will be $117.93.

If Tom has 3 different sweaters, and 5 different pairs of pants, how many different combinations could he wear?
Vladimir [108]
Check the tree diagram in the picture.

Tom could pick Pants 1 (P1), then Sweater 1, 2 or 3. So 3 combinations

Similarly if we picked P2, P3, P4 or P5 we would have 3 combinations per each.

In total we have 5*3=15 different combinations.
