Can someone help me on the following?. 14.5n – 4 = 8 15. 2x + 5 – 4x = -3 16. 96=-6(-4 -3y)
leonid [27]
14. 5n - 4 = 8
           5n = 12
             n = 2.4

15. 3x + 5 - 4x = -3
              -x + 5 = -3
                    -x = -8
                     x = 8

16. 96 = -6(-4 - 3y)
      96 = 24 + 18y
      72 = 18y
        4 = y

17. 3(x - 5) = -14 + 17x
      3x - 15 = -14 + 17x
   -11x - 15 = -14
          -11x = 1
               x = -0.0909

18. 7z + 10 - z = 8z - 2(z - 5)
           6z + 10 = 8z - 2z + 10
           6z + 10 = 6z + 10
                   6z = 6z
                     z = z   (all real numbers are solutions)

Hope this helps.

Brent would like to start a small landscape business this summer. He has a lawn mower, but needs a truck to carry the lawn mower
spin [16.1K]

Answer:

I would buy the 2000 Toyota Tundra. Yes it is the most expensive, but it is the newest so it should require less expense money for problems, it is a manual transmission 6 cylinder so it should get better gas mileage, and it has fewer miles. The rankings of these trucks are not provided, however a Toyota tundra is considered to be a workhorse in the truck. If this is an opinion question, that's my choice.
