Terrestrial Planets

A terrestrial planet is a planet which fundamentally consists of silicate ores or minerals. The mundane planets are the hidden asteroids which are nearest to the Sun in the solar system that is Mercury, Venus, Earth, and Mars. Terrestrial planets hold a substantial terrestrial covering. It makes them considerably distinct from the massive enormous planets.

From this is formed into an unusual mixture of elements like hydrogen, helium, and water surviving in several physical elements. They also have a hot massive alloy center, some planets, and topological characteristics like canyons, volcanoes, and cavities.

After 15 hours, the number of bacteria increased 4 times the initial number. 5 hours later, it had remained already 20 hours at a stable temperature of 15 degrees and had reached a rercord of 10 million individuals, remaining 15 hours at the same position. After that, it started decreasing and 10 hours later it had gone back to 4 million individuals.

Hope it helped,

What is the substrate of the enzyme amylase
Kitty [74]

Answer: Substrate of Amylase enzyme is starch.

Explanation: Amylase enzyme is used to speed the chemical reaction of hydrolysing starch, a polymer of glucose, to maltose. Starch is a polysaccharide so basically the amylase enzyme breaks down this polysaccharide (many sugars) with the aid of water to disaccharide (two sugars).

What would be the ploidy of the viable gametes produced by a tetraploid individual if nondisjunction of all chromosomes occurred
sattari [20]

Answer:

Tetraploid

Explanation:

Ploidy:

Ploidy is a biological term used for the presence of number of chromosome sets in a cell. Cells can be haploid (gametes), diploid (two chromosomal sets) and polyploid (more than two chromosomal sets).

Polyploidy:

A condition that entails the possession of more than two sets of chromosomes in the cell. Normal cells are diploid (2n) i.e they contain two sets of chromosomes, one from each parents. Polyploid individuals contain three (triploid, 3n), four (tetraploid, 4n), five (pentaploid, 5n) number of chromosomes and so on.

Under normal disjunction of chromosomes, a tetraploid cell will produce two diploid daughter cells each with two sets of chromosomes.

However, in the case of non-disjunction of all chromosomes in a tetraploid individual, two tetraploid daughter cells will be produced at the end of meiosis 1.

Non-disjunction of all chromosomes means that one daughter cell has received all 4 sets of chromosomes while the other is null i.e. contains zero chromosomal sets.
