I hope this helps you

y= 2 (x^2-4x+4)+1

y=2 (x.x-2.2.x+(-2). (-2))+1

y= 2. (x-2)^2+1

we have

y=2x^{2} -8x+9

Group terms that contain the same variable, and move the constant to the opposite side of the equation

y-9=2x^{2} -8x

Factor the leading coefficient

y-9=2(x^{2} -4x)

Complete the square. Remember to balance the equation by adding the same constants to each side

y-9+8=2(x^{2} -4x+4)

y-1=2(x^{2} -4x+4)

Rewrite as perfect squares

y-1=2(x-2)^{2}

y=2(x-2)^{2} +1-----> equation in vertex form

therefore

the answer is the option C

y=2(x-2)^{2} +1

On a coordinate plane, the coordinates of vertices R and T for a polygon are R(−6, 2) and T(1, 2). What is the length of Side RT
andriy [413]
Answer : 7 units

There are two ways you can solve this problem:

1st way - Subtract the T's x coordinate by r's x coordinate.

1-(-6) = 1+6 = 7

2nd way - Graph the points than count the units between them.

Graph the system of inequalities y> 2x-3 and 3y-x≤6
Veronika [31]
Y > 2x - 3
3y - x ≤ 6
       ↓
y = 2x - 3
3y - x = 6

    3(2x - 3) - x = 6
3(2x) - 3(3) - x = 6
        6x - 9 - x = 6
        6x - x - 9 = 6
             5x - 9 = 6
                 + 9 + 9
                  5x = 15
                   5      5
                    x = 3
y = 2x - 3
y = 2(3) - 3
y = 6 - 3
y = 3
(x, y) = (3, 3)

Correct answer gets brainliest and 5 stars
Serggg [28]

Answer:

A is false

Step-by-step explanation:

notice how in both diagrams, there are 4 triangles with lengths a, b, c, but in each diagram the triangles are just rotated and positioned differently. if there are the same amount of triangles in both diagrams, and the have equal lengths then the area of the remaining figure, should both match up.

basically the area of the big square in Step 2, is equal to both of the shaded squares, combined area, in Step 1.
