Kyle purchased a 20 lb. pumpkin for $5.95.

Cost per lb of pumpkin for Kyle = 5.95/ 12 = $0.496.

Elizabeth purchased a 15 lb. pumpkin for $5.00.

Cost per lb of pumpkin for Elizabeth = 5.00/15 = $0.333.

Elijah purchased an 8 oz. pumpkin for $ 0.16.

16 oz = 1 lb

8 oz = 0.5 lb.

Cost per lb of pumpkin for Elijah = 0.16/ 0.5 = $ 0.32.

<h3>Cost per lb of pumpkin for Elijah is $ 0.32 is the lowest price per lb of pumpkin .</h3><h3>Cost per lb of pumpkin for Kyle is $ $0.496 is the highest price per lb of pumpkin .</h3><h3>Therefore, Elijah got the best deal and Kyle got the worst deal.</h3>

the equation y=4.65x 1.37 fits the graph of stock XYZ over the past month with an r=value of 0.9894. How much do you think XYZ w
bogdanovich [222]

Answer: $1841.38 .

Step-by-step explanation:

Given, the equation y=4.65(1.37)^x fits the graph of stock XYZ over the past month with an r=value of 0.9894.

At x= 19,

y=4.65(1.37)^{19}\\\\\Rightarrow\ y=4.65(395.9960)\\\\\Rightarrow\ y=1841.38

Hence, At x= 19 days , the worth of XYZ will be $1841.38 .

solmaris [256]

Answer:

( l + 4) * ( w + 3 ) * ( h + 7)

let l represent the length, w represent the width, and h represent the height of your cub-shaped gift.

Though, if your gift is in the shape of a cube, that would mean all the sides are the same length.

( 2 + 4 ) * ( 2 + 3 ) * ( 2 + 7 )

6 * 5 * 9 = 270

(I haven't done geometry in awhile though, so this may be incorrect unless it actually makes sense.)

Not only would I like the value of x, but also I wonder how I’d go about solving this problem?
notsponge [240]

Answer:

x = 58

Step-by-step explanation:

This question can be solved by using the exterior angle property, which states that the exterior angle of a triangle = the sum of the two opposite interior angles.

62 lies on a line, so the exterior angle is 180 - 62, or 118 degrees.

Using the EAP, we can conclude the following:

(x + 2) + (x) = 118

2x + 2 = 118

2x = 116

x = 58

Hope this helps
