Hey DatGamer13!
Question:
Solve for x
Solution:
Subtract 10 from both sides.
3x^2 + 13x − 10 = 10 − 10
3x^2 + 13x − 10 = 0
Factor left side of equation.
(3x − 2) (x + 5) = 0
Set factors equal to 0.
3x − 2 = 0 or x + 5 = 0
Answer:
x = 2/3 or x = −5
For this case we have to represent the following expression algebraically:
"10 less than x is -45"
So:
10 less than x is represented as:
Then, the complete expression is represented as:

Adding 10 to both sides of the equation:

Thus, the value of the variable is
Answer:

Answer:
70%
Step-by-step explanation:
First, convert 0.3 into a percentage;
To do so, convert it 0.3 into a fraction then multiply by 100;
0.3 into a fraction = 3/10
3/10 into a percentage =
The 10 at the bottom cancels out one zero at the top and you are left with 30.
Therefore percentage in Carlos' monthly savings is = 30%
Next, calculate the percentage NOT put in savings
percentage NOT put in savings = 100% - percentage in savings;
That is ; 100% -30% =70%
Hence, 70% of his income is not put into savings.
