Carl Critic has just announced his choices of the worst Hollywood actresses of the year, and Stella Starr has been named the wor

st of the worst. Carl's announcement, made in his weekly column titled "Random Musings by Carl Critic" and published in the local paper, claims that he believes her to have the least amount of talent in the movie industry and that she "can't act her way out of a paper bag." When Stella reads Carl's column, she immediately starts to cry hysterically and then decides to sue him. Does she have a valid case of libel?

No, because Carl has the right to freedom of the press in the 1st amendment and technically he did not do anything illegal. So Stella does not have a valid case of libel.

Is this constitutional? <br> Explain answer using the case provided.
Yakvenalex [24]
Yes it is constitutional, the police searched his home without a warrant while he was not in the state on a suspicion that he had a meth lab in his home. They found a ghost AK-47 with bloody fingerprints in his home. That is illegal and a felony but because they searched his home with no warrant or a case being built to find that AK-47 the man had his rights to not be charged.

Identify a mala prohibita law(s) that exists in Florida which you believe should be decriminalized
Viktor [21]

Answer:

Explanation:

Mala prohibita can be defined as the term that is used to describe acts which are strictly considered as crime under the statutory law. These crimes does not include any serious punishment , these are considered as misdemeanors.

Some crimes which are considered under the Mala Prohibita are drug abuse, gambling, possession of weapon, drunk driving and public intoxication.

According to me the distribution of marijuana and sale must be decriminalized in Florida because it is used for the purpose of preparation of medicines.
