Manifest destiny is the belief that the united states had to stretch from Coast to coast. The belief is what caused the westward expansion. Many Indians were kicked off of their land due to the settlers migrating into their lands. many Americans were receptive to the idea of the Manifest Destiny and believed it was their 'divine obligation' to extend the lands of the United States of America.

PLS HELP PLEASEEEEEE How and why was the concept of private property developed?
Lostsunrise [7]

Answer:

Private property refers to a kind of system that allocates particular objects like pieces of land to particular individuals to use and manage as they please, to the exclusion of others and to the exclusion of any detailed control by society. In legal terms it's usually a designation for the ownership of property by non-governmental legal entities. Private property is distinguishable from public property, which is owned by a state entity; and from collective (or cooperative) property, which is owned by a group of non-governmental entities Certain political philosophies like socialism and anarchism make a clear distinction between private and personal property while others blend the two together. Private property is a legal concept defined and enforced by a country's political system

Give two reasons why Rome was able to become one of the largest empires in
lawyer [7]

Answer:Rome went from being one of many city-states in the Italian Peninsula to being the center of the most powerful empire in the world between the fifth century BCE and the first century CE.

During the Republican period of Rome, political offices and institutions were designed to prevent any one man from becoming too powerful. These systems began to break down in the first century BCE.

Rome was able to gain its empire in large part by extending some form of citizenship to many of the people it conquered.

Military expansion drove economic development, bringing enslaved people and loot back to Rome, which in turn transformed the city of Rome and Roman culture.
