Answer:

Our political preference generally influenced by the values that we held to determine which one is wrong and which one is right.

Often times, we only socialize with a group of people that only held the same value as us. When this happen,the affirmation that we get from those people will act as <u>external protection </u>that prevent us from hearing the values of other people that do not belong in our social group.

So,  External protection of values basically are things that keep us from changing our value that does not come from ourselves.

True; the theory of socialism is a form of government where the community runs everything. However, socialism more commonly devolves into a government where a small group of people would rule everything, such as what happened with the Soviet union in World War 2.

  In all three areas ethnic minorities are trying to achieve some degree of autonomy or independence. In Quebec the movement is peaceful and political, and some people are now satisfied with protected language rights within the Canadian confederation while some still want independence for Quebec. In Xinjiang the Uighur minority wants independence from China; due to lack of political options the movement has used sporadic violence and terrorism to achieve its ends. Only in Chechnya has the independence movement spilled over into civil war with terrorism in other parts of Russia.
