To prevent future nation-state wars, moral disarmament intended to promote worldwide collaboration and understanding. The League of Nations conducted a disarmament conference in Geneva, Switzerland, to aid in the disarmament project. The Disarmament Conference aimed to ensure the independence of several nations while reducing a nation's arsenal of offensive weapons.
