Answer:

C because any repeating x values (The first number) indicated it is not a function. C is the only one with no repeating x values. The y values are fine to repeat though

Does anyone know the answer to this question? Or at least a way to solve it?
laiz [17]
Since angle A = Angle B, I believe you would write it out like this:
6x+12=3x+63
subtract 3x from both sides, then subtract 12 from both sides.
3x=51
divide 51 by 3 to find x.
x=17
Now to find the measure of angle A.
A = 6(17)+12
A = 102+12
A = 114, angle A is 114 degrees.

Principal Lopez asked her 500 students to vote on the school's annual gift. 300 students voted to donate a telescope for the sci
Maksim231197 [3]

Using the percentage concept, it is found that 60% of the students voted to donate a telescope.

What is a percentage?

The percentage of an amount a over a total amount b is given by a multiplied by 100% and divided by b, that is:

P = \frac{a}{b} \times 100\%

In this problem:

 • The total amount is the number of students, which is of b = 500.
 • 300 voted to donate, hence a = 300.

The percentage is given by:

P = \frac{300}{500} \times 100\% = 60\%

60% of the students voted to donate a telescope.

Multiply(4×10^4)(3.63×10^-4) in scientifc notation
soldier1979 [14.2K]
Rewrite
(4)(3.63) * (10^4)(10^-4)
multiply
14.52 * (10^4)(10^-4)
multiplication of the coefficient is the addition of the exponent
so 4 -4 is 0

14.52

Hope this helps :)

A noise level of a lawn tractor is approximately
Natali5045456 [20]

Answer:

Step-by-step explanation:

Since the noise level of a lawn tractor is approximately

normally distributed, we would apply the formula for normal distribution which is expressed as

z = (x - u)/s

Where

x = the noise level

u = mean noise level

s = standard deviation

From the information given,

u = 100 decibels

s = 3 decibels.

We want to find the probability that a randomly selected lawn tractor will generate a noise level of

more than 105 decibels. It is expressed as

P(x > 105) = 1 - P(x ≤ 105)

For x = 105,

z = (105 - 100)/3 = 1.67

Looking at the normal distribution table, the probability corresponding to the z score is 0.9525

P(x > 105) = 1 - 0.9525 = 0.0475
