In order to solve this equation you will have to add 4 on both sides and then you will have your answer.

n-4=16

+4 +4

16+4 = 20

n = 20

Which means your answer is "20."

Hope this helps.

Breann solved the system of equations below. What mistake did she make in her work? 2x + y = 5 x − 2y = 10 y = 5 − 2x x − 2(5 −
goldfiish [28.3K]

Answer:

No mistake

Step-by-step explanation:

2x + y = 5

x - 2y = 10

y = 5 - 2x

x - 2(5 - 2x) = 10

x - 10 + 4x = 10

5x - 10 = 10

5x = 20

x = 4

2(4) + y = 5

y =  -3

She made no mistake

You can check by plugging in x = 4 and y = -3 into the original equations . They fit exactly.

Identify the factors of 9x^2+24x+16
Goryan [66]
Hi friend,

This is a perfect square trinomial.

It can be recognised because it is of the form:

a^2−2ab+b^2=(a−b)^2

with a=3x and b=4

9x2−24x+16=(3x)2−(2⋅(3x)⋅4)+42

=(3x−4)2
