In order to solve this equation you will have to add 4 on both sides and then you will have your answer.

n-4=16

+4 +4

16+4 = 20

n = 20

Which means your answer is "20."

Hope this helps.

Which of the following rotational symmetry is applied to the regular not
olya-2409 [2.1K]

9514 1404 393

Answer:

  • yes
  • yes

Step-by-step explanation:

A regular nonagon has vertices that are 360°/9 = 40° apart. Any rotation by a multiple of 40° will make the figure indistinguishable from the original.

Rotational symmetry of 40° applies.

Rotational symmetry of 200° applies.

Tell whether the angles are complementary or supplementary. Then find the value of x.
Paha777 [63]
The angles are complementary meaning they =90 degrees.

So take (x-20) and x, and write this equation,

x-20+x=90

2x-20=90

move the 20 over

2x-20=90
    +20  +20

2x=110

x=55.

You can check it by plugging it back in,

(55-20)=35
and
x=55

35+55=90.

Thus, you know your answer is correct.

Which inequality is true when G = 3/5 ?
GREYUIT [131]

Answer:

D. 15G > 9

Step-by-step explanation:

Given: G = 3/5

Here we have to check each options and find which is true.

Let's start from A.

G - 1 > 2/5

G > 2/5 + 1

G > 7/5 is not true.

B. -10G > 6

Dividing both sides by -10 , we get

G < -6/10

G < -3/5 Is not true.

C. 1 2/5 + G > 3

Now convert 1 2/5 to improper fraction.

1 2/5 = 7/5

7/5 + G > 3

G > 3 - 7/5

G > (15 - 7)/5

G > 8/5 is not rule.

D. 15G > 9

Dividing both sides by 15, we get

G > 9/15

Now we have to simplify 9/15

G > 3/5 which is true.

Answer: D. 15G > 9

Thank you.
