Answer:

Explained below.

Explanation:

Adhesion as well as cohesion remain water features that transform every water molecule on Earth as well as also the interplay of water molecules betwixt molecules of different materials. Naturally, cohesion, as well as adhesion, are some "stickiness" that liquid molecules possess for several others including for different elements.

Thou can see the aforementioned in the attached image of pine needles. Water droplet is formed of water molecules that want to stick synchronically, an <u>illustration of the characteristic cohesion</u>. The water droplet is attached to the end of specific pine needles, which is an <u>illustration of the character of adhesion</u>. Also prominent in this image is the result that gravity has on the water droplets. Gravity is acting against both adhesions as well as cohesion, attempting to draw the water droplet earthward. Adhesion as well as cohesion are acquiring the campaign so far, as the droplets are sticking to particular pine needles.

What is NOT true about the evidence that fossils provide?
aleksandrvk [35]

Answer:

C. All fossils contain intact DNA that can be sequenced.

Explanation:

Fossils are the impression, trace or preserved remains of once-living thing from past thousands of years such as bones, exoskeletons, objects preserved in amber, and stone imprints of animals or microbes.

Fossils provide evidence about seevral characteristics and features of extinct organism such as evolutionary relationship between organisms and  transitional forms between groups of organisms. but all the fossil do not provide evidence about the intact DNA that can be sequenced because some fossils carry DNA rumnants which do not have the ability to get sequenced.

Hence, the correct option is C.

What would happen if our lungs where made up of only one big alveoli?
Dimas [21]

The process of respiration system would not function well if the lungs was made up of only one big alveoli.

<u>Explanation:</u>

The main role of alveoli is to help the lungs to breath, for ventilation, diffusion and perfusion. The process of respiration system would not function well if the lungs was made up of only one big alveoli.

Alveoli are tiny to help the flow of oxygen and carbon dioxide, it helps the oxygen flow into the lungs and remove the carbon dioxide. If the alveoli is just one and big, then it would be hard to flow the oxygen through lungs and remove the carbon dioxide.

Therefore, it is good to have many tiny alveoli than one big one or the rib cage  that protect the lungs could go through some damages.
