Answer:

Audience realize about vera's tone in the last paragraph is that vera is unscrupulous and imaginative storyteller. Sappleton leaves that window open in the hopes that someday her husband will return. At the end of the story it reveals that, at least to Nuttel, vera’s story is true. And it also reveals at the end of the story vera is a bit unhinged and the Mr. Sappleton is very much alive. Although Vera’s and Nuttel have a lot of dissimilarities but there were also some common things between them like both characters are affected by their sounding environment.

Jupiter and his mighty company end the golden agePart a which of the following best identifies the central theme of this text?A.
stira [4]

Answer:

Answer:

The correct answer is c) Power can corrupt.

Explanation:

It is said that before in the Golden Age, everything was handled by the Titans who had the appearance of humans but were more abundant and stronger. As the king of the Titans was Saturn the father of Jupiter (also known as Zeus), at this time they say that people felt happy with what Saturn offered them, there was no disease, war, envy and no one wanted to rule another, for example, the fields were full of harvest and beautiful climates.

But  Jupiter had planned to defeat the Titans and joined his brothers to destroy them; in this way, the golden age no longer existed, and everything that was previously known as the golden age no longer existed. People were influenced by power, causing wars and enemies; all were eager for power.

I hope this information can help you.

Which of these pronouns is third-person plural possessive
vovangra [49]
Third person plural pronoun is THEY.
If you want to create a possessive pronoun out of that one, that would be THEIRS.
Possessive pronouns, as the name itself says, determine some kind of possession. For example:
Is this books yours? - No, it's theirs.

No one was looking forward to tommy's fifth birthday. on that day, he would be removed from the family to enter communal living.
mario62 [17]

I would say the bet answer would be option D "Five-year-olds will be evaluated." This would set the stories setting as a dystopia because no five year old would be evaluated at such a young age and given a job. Tommy was also worried that his creativity, and intelligence would go unnoticed and he would be placed as a coal processor and hoped he would become a scientist or a programmer. Also, remember that a dystopia is a made up world of injustice and suffering.

Hope this helps.
