Answer:

\frac{7}{13} > \frac{6}{13}

Since both fractions have the same denominator, you can just compare through the numerator.

Hence, \frac{7}{13} > \frac{6}{13}

Ok so this person was paid $422.75 this week for working one week. $42.75 though, was added onto her normal paycheck because she worked overtime. So we subtract the $42.75 from the $422.75 to get $380. So if she made that normal money by working for 40 hours we need to find how much money she makes in one hour. SO we just do 380/40 to get $9.50 per hour

Hope that helped.... If i explained it weird and you still don't get it PM me and i can try to reexplain :)

Please help n show work
notsponge [240]

x = time in minutes

y = distance remaining

Steve starts at home when the time is x = 0 minutes. The y value y = 40 pairs up with this x value. This is shown by the point (0,40) on the diagonal line, aka the y intercept. The y intercept is where the line crosses the y axis.

The y = 40 indicates that Steve has 40 miles remaining when he starts at home. In other words, the distance from home to work is 40 miles.

The x intercept is where the diagonal line crosses or touches the x axis. The x intercept is (45,0) which represents the idea that 45 minutes have passed by. The y = 0 means that he has 0 miles left go to. Steve has reached the office at this point.

Mozart's Music Store rents trombones for $34 a month. Bach's Music Store rents trombones for $30 per month plus a yearly fee of
jeka94

Answer:

Step-by-step explanation:

Let M(x) be the cost of renting from Mozart's Music Store for x years, and B(x) be the cost of renting from Bach's Music Store for x years.

From the problem statement, we can come up with the following equations:

M(x) = 34(12x)

B(x) = 30(12x) + 48x

Plugging in x = 9 for each equation, we can get the answer:

M(9) = 34(12 * 9)

M(9) = 34(108)

M(9) = 3672

B(9) = 30(12 * 9) + 48(9)

B(9) = 30(108) + 432

B(9) = 3240 + 432

B(9) = 3672

From this, we can see that the value is equal for both stores.
