Answer:

[Cl2O5] = 1.60 M

Explanation:

  • 2Cl2O5(g) → 2Cl2(g) + 5O2(g)

at T ⇒ r = (17.4/M.s)*[Cl2O5]²

1) [Cl2O5] = 1.46 M

⇒ t = 0.400 s ⇒ [Cl2O5] = ?

rate law gnral:

  • - ra = K(Ca)∧α = - δCa/δt

∴ K = 17.4 /M.s

∴ α = 2

⇒ - ∫δCa/Ca² = K∫δt

⇒ [ 1/Ca - 1/Cao ] = K*t

⇒ 1/Ca = K*t + 1/Cao

⇒ Ca = 1/K*t + Cao = [Cl2O5]

∴ Cao = 1.46 M

∴ t = 0.400 s

⇒ [Cl2O5] = 1/[(17.4/M.s)*(0.400s)] + 1.46 M

⇒ [Cl2O5] = 0.1436 M + 1.46 M

⇒ [Cl2O5] = 1.604 M

How many moles of hydrogen are needed to produce 13.78 mol of ethane?
mamaluj [8]
Ethane is an alkane. Methane is also an alkane and is considered to be the simplest alkane. The difference is ethane has only 2 carbon. That carbon has 6 hydrogen attached to it. So what we do is we multiply the moles of ethane by the number of hydrogen (by dimension analysis) resulting to 82.68 moles H.

Karl likes to use cruise control when he drives on
Yanka [14]

Answer:

3.96 MINUTES

Explanation:

Karl likes to use cruise control when he drives on

the highway. After setting cruise control at 33.53

m/s (75 mph). At this speed, how long would it

take Karl to travel 8 kilometers?

VELOCITY = DISTANCE/TIME

OR

V=D/T

SO

VT=D

SO

T=D/V

THE DISTANCE IS 8 KM

THE VELOCITY IS 75 MPH

THERE ARE 1.61 KM PER MILE

SO

75M[H =

75 X 1.61 KM/H =

121 KM/HR

T=D/V

T=8/121 =0.066 HOUR =

0.066 X 60 MINUTES =

3.96 MINUTES

CHECK

75 MPH =

(75 X 1.61) KM/60 MINUTES =

120,75 KM/60 MINUTES=

2.01 KM/MINUTE

to travel 8 K,M WILL TAKE

8/2.01 = 3.98 minutes
