We use ELA when we speak because as we have been taught to speak, we had to learn from reading and writing and listening to others who spoke our same language. ELA helps all of us when it comes to making smart decisions. If we didn’t have anyone to teach us how to speak, write and read, how would we be able to apply for jobs? How would we be able to communicate what we want and what we need?
