The formula to use is

A = P(1+r)^t

where,

A = final amount after t years

P = initial amount = 4100

r = rate of increase or decay = -3.75% = -3.75/100 = -0.0375

t = number of years = 11

The value of r is negative to indicate exponential decay. Also notice that I divided by 100 to convert from -3.75% to -0.0375

Using those values, we plug them into the formula to get,

A = P(1+r)^t

A = 4100(1+(-0.0375))^11

A = 4100(1-0.0375)^11

A = 4100(0.9625)^11

A = 4100*0.65676215615721

A = 2692.72484024457

A = 2693

Rounding to the nearest whole number, the answer is approximately 2693 km^2.

Hayden has 6 rolls of dimes there are 50 dimes in each roll. How many dimes does he have altogether
DerKrebs [107]
This is pretty simple. :) Since you have 6 rolls of dimes with 50 dimes in each, you would just do 6*50 which equals 300. So Hayden has 300 dimes altogether. Hope this helps! :)

Factor (8xy)(3x-7y) on standard form
photoshop1234 [79]

Answer:

Step-by-sThe standard form is Ax + By = C

with A being both positive and non-fraction

so we are given 3x - 9 = 7y

we add the 9 to both sides

3x = 7y + 9

and subtract the 7y from both sides

3x - 7y = 9

The function f(x) = -3cos(3x+ x/4 ) has amplitude of what
Pepsi [2]

Answer:

amplitude = 3

Step-by-step explanation:

The standard form of a cosine function is

f(x) = a cos(bx + c) + d

amplitude = | a |, period = \frac{2\pi }{b}

phase shift = - \frac{c}{b}, d is the vertical shift

Given the above function, then

amplitude = | - 3 | = 3
