First you change the number that is not with "p" and it changes with the opposite sign

-0.75p = 0.25 + 2

-0.75p = 2.25

then as -0.75 and p are multiplying, you pass -0.75 as dividing

p = 2.25/-0.75

p = 3

p = -2

<u>Change the position</u>

-0.75p = 0.25p + 2

Subtract

-0.75p - 0.25p = -1p

<em>-p</em>

Divide by -1

-p = 2

What’s the value of x ?

Answer:

x=70

Step-by-step explanation:

Because these angles are on the opposite sides of each other, they have to add up to 180. This will make the equation 2x-5+45=180. Simplify this to get 2x+40=180. Subtract 40 from both sides to get 2x=140. Divide each side by 2 to isolate x. x=140/2. Simplify this to get x=70.

\sqrt{384}

\sqrt{192 \times 2}

\sqrt{96 \times 2 \times 2}

2 \sqrt{48 \times 2}

2 \sqrt{24 \times 2 \times 2}

2 \times 2 \sqrt{12 \times 2}

4  \sqrt{6 \times 2 \times 2}

4 \times 2 \sqrt{6}

Part A: Write an equation of a line that is perpendicular to the line y = 2/3x + 5 and passes through the point (4, 0).
Ivahew [28]

Step-by-step explanation:

First you need to make a line perpendicular to y=2/3x+5. To do that you have to know that, if we use y=ax+b, a1*a2=-1. That is if a1 and a2 are perpendicular. So we get 2/3*a2=-1. -1/ 2/3=a2. a2=-1.5. We get y=-1.5x+b. Fill in (4,0) on y=-1.5x+b abd we get 0=-1.5(4)+b. b=6
