Solution:

Given: zj = 3- j2, zz = - 4 + j3

Part a:

zj = 3- j2 = 3.6e^{-j33.7^{\circ}}

zz = - 4 + j3 = 5e^{j143.1^{\circ}}

Part b:

|zj| = |3− j2| =  √3² +(−2)² = √13 = 3.60

|z1| =  √(3− j2)(3+ j2) = √ 13 = 3.60.

Part c:

With the help of part a:

z1z2 = 3.6e^{-j33.7^{\circ}}.5e^{j143.1^{\circ}}

<u>Rectangle A</u>
P = 2l + 2w
P = 2(3x + 2) + 2(2x - 1)
P = 2(3x) + 2(2) + 2(2x) - 2(1)
P = 6x + 4 + 4x - 2
P = 6x + 4x + 4 - 2
P = 10x + 2
<u>
Rectangle B</u>
P = 2l + 2w
P = 2(x + 5) + 2(5x - 1)
P = 2(x) + 2(5) + 2(5x) - 2(1)
P = 2x + 10 + 10x - 2
P = 2x + 10x + 10 - 2
P = 12x + 8

<u>Rectangle B - Rectangle A</u>
(12x + 8) - (10x + 2)
12x - 10x + 8 - 2
2x + 6

The correct answer is B.

2. Hessa was playing a computer game. She scored 43 points in Round 1 and 26 points in Round 2. Which sum could she use to add t
murzikaleks [220]

Answer:

<h2>a. 40 + 20 + 3 + 6</h2>

Step-by-step explanation:

Points scored by Hessa is as shown below;

Round 1 = 43 points

Round 2 = 26 points

Total points for both rounds = 43 + 26 = 69 points

To determine the sum she could use to add the points together, we must select the sum that will give us the same total of points for both rounds i.e 69 points.

The Round 1 score (43 pt)can also be expressed as (40+3) points

The Round 2 score (26 pt)can also be expressed as (20+6) points

The sum she could use to add the points together will be  (40+3)+(20+6)

which is also equal to  40 + 20 + 3 + 6  = 69points

Hence, option a is correct
