Solution:

Given: zj = 3- j2, zz = - 4 + j3

Part a:

zj = 3- j2 = 3.6e^{-j33.7^{\circ}}

zz = - 4 + j3 = 5e^{j143.1^{\circ}}

Part b:

|zj| = |3− j2| =  √3² +(−2)² = √13 = 3.60

|z1| =  √(3− j2)(3+ j2) = √ 13 = 3.60.

Part c:

With the help of part a:

z1z2 = 3.6e^{-j33.7^{\circ}}.5e^{j143.1^{\circ}}

Which point on the graph shows the price of 6 ounces of cheese? Use the formula y=x÷2 to find y when x is 6.
Gwar [14]

Answer: The required point is A(6, 3) in the attached graph.

Step-by-step explanation:  We are to find the point on the given graph that shows the price of 6 ounces of cheese.

The formula to be used is given by

y=x\div 2\\\\\Rightarrow y=\dfrac{x}{2}~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~(i).

Given that,

when x = 2 then y = 1. That is, price of 2 ounces of cheese is $1.

when x = 7 then y = 3.5. That is, price of 7 ounces of cheese is $3.5.

when x = 14 then y = 7. That is, price of 14 ounces of cheese is $7.

Therefore, these points satisfy the given relation (i).

Hence, if x = 6, then from equation (i), we have

y=\dfrac{x}{2}=\dfrac{6}{2}=3.

Thus, the price of 6 ounces of cheese is &3. This gives that the required point is A(6, 3) on the graph attached below.

Need help finding n forgot how to do this
andreyandreev [35.5K]

Answer:

n  =                                    3\sqrt{2}

There are two best ways to solve this.

using cosine method:

cos(n) =  \frac{adjacent}{hypotenuse}

cos(60) = \frac{adjacent}{6\sqrt{2} }

adjacent,n = cos(60) * 6\sqrt{2}

n  =                                    3\sqrt{2}

using sine method:

sin(n) = \frac{opposite}{hypotenuse}

sin(30)=  \frac{n}{6\sqrt{2} }

n  = sin(30) * 6\sqrt{2}

n = 3\sqrt{2}

There are many ways, not to make it complex, these are the best ways to solve for n. Hope it helps ~

Give A={a,b,c},how many subsets does A have including 0?
Tems11 [23]
Answer: 8 subsets

----------------------------------------------------------------------
----------------------------------------------------------------------

There are n = 3 elements in the given set, so there are 2^n = 2^3 = 2*2*2 = 8 subsets. Those 8 subsets are listed below

{a,b,c}
{a,b}, {a,c}, {b, c}
{a}, {b}, {c}
{ }

The first row is the original set. Any set is a subset of itself.
The second row represents subsets with exactly 2 elements.
The third row represents subsets with exactly 1 element
The fourth row is the empty set which can be written as \varnothing
