Velocity is how fast and acceleration is like: Something starts off slow and over time it goes faster

While velocity is your speed, or how fast you are moving, acceleration refers to how your velocity is changing. For example, a negative acceleration means you are slowing down

I do think that mass hysteria can affect the environment because the hysteria can cause people to do something to the environment. I just recently read a story about mass hysteria causing people to spray everything with chemicals...it was interesting. But the chemicals would affect the environment.
