Answer - C. Reproduction

Reasoning - This was answered before within the community. Here's a reasoning why I chose the answer. - Just like a hydra they are abundant since they can reproduce asexually without having to reproduce with a mate, which means they the ecosystem can eat they and keep the active food chains going.

Which of the following experiments would be considered unethical?
sveticcg [70]

Answer:

C. Taking blood samples from patients for research purposes

without consent

Explanation:

Generally, providers may not render medical services without the patient’s consent, unless performance of emergency, lifesaving care is necessary. Taking samples from a patient is a type of medical service; thus, state consent laws apply. In addition, providers may not disclose PHI without patient authorization.

It depends on the definition of unethical being used, however I think I am right. I'm in AP bio currently. Let me know what the answer is :)

Describe the amount of freshwater on earth and where it is used and stored
Sergeeva-Olga [200]

According to the U.S. Geological Survey, most of that three percent is inaccessible. Over 68 percent of the fresh water on Earth is found in icecaps and glaciers, and just over 30 percent is found in ground water. Only about 0.3 percent of our fresh water is found in the surface water of lakes, rivers, and swamps. The use for the water in the world is for household drinking water. The ocean stores about 97 percent of the Earth's water; the remaining three percent is stored in glaciers and ice, below the ground, in rivers and lakes. Of the world's total water supply of about 332 million cubic miles of water, about 97 percent is stored in the ocean.

Hope this helps!
