I would say C because if u move the decimal to the right 7 places, you would get 45,000,000

A girl found dress fo £65.50 and there was an 15% sale on
Alika [10]

Answer: $65.50 - 15% = 55.675

Step-by-step explanation:

Conversion a decimal number to a fraction: 65.50 = 655

10

= 131

2

Conversion a decimal number to a fraction: 9.825 = 9825

1000

= 393

40

Subtract: 65.5 - 9.825 = 131

2

- 393

40

= 131 · 20

2 · 20

- 393

40

= 2620

40

- 393

40

= 2620 - 393

40

= 2227

the graph of f(x) is shown below. what are the values of a, b, c, and d in the definition of f(x) below? (graph and definition o
Otrada [13]

Answer:

Step-by-step explanation:

For the given piecewise function,

Let the equation of the segment AB is,

y = ax + 7 where x < -2

Since a point (-2, 3) lies on the given line,

3 = a(-2) + 7

3 - 7 = -2a

a = 2

Therefore, f(x) = 2x + 7 when x < -2

For the segment BC,

f(x) = 3 where -2 ≤ x ≤ 2

For the segment CD,

f(x) = bx + 9

Since a point (2, 3) lies on this segment,

f(2) = 2b + 9 = 3

2b = 3 - 9

b = -3

Therefore, equation of segment CD will be,

f(x) = (-3)x + 9   where x > 2

-y varies inversely with x. When y = 9.6, x = 12. What is the value of k, the constant of inverse variation?
alisha [4.7K]

Question 1:

For this case we have an equation of the form:

y = \frac {k} {x}

Where,

  • <em>k: inverse variation constant. </em>

Then, substituting values we have:

y =\frac {k} {x}

From here, we clear the value of k.

We have then:

k = 9.6 * 12\\k = 115.2

Answer:

the constant of inverse variation is:

k = 115.2

Question 2:

For this case we have:

y = \frac {k} {x}

Where,

  • <em>k: constant of variation. </em>

Then, substituting the value of the constant we have:

y =\frac {5.6} {x}

We now substitute the value of x:

y = \frac {5.6} {4}\\y = 1.4

Answer:

 the value of y when x = 4 is: y = 1.4

Softa [21]
I believe this is J with a radius of 6

the formula for circumference is 2(pi)r so i just took the 12(pi) and divided it by 2, which left me with 6(pi), meaning that 6 would be the "r" in the situation
