A social institution is a group of people where people meet for their common purpose. The main purpose of the society or any institution is to maintain and control the discipline among the institution. This aim would be achieved by developing an organization in an institution. Institutions can not work alone, it needs another institution to help, cooperation, and association. This inter-dependency called the organization. The institution word is used for both formal institutions such as customs and any formal institution created by an organization or built by govt. An institution is a primary object to study in social psychology. It arises, develop, function in social self-organization beyond the conscious level.
Social debt is one of the principles of sentencing. Sentencing refers to the criminal sanction imposed on an individual for any form of crime committed by him. It is given to an individual by a judicial authority. Social debt focuses on the issue that the history and past of any offender should be taken into consideration before any sentencing decision is made on the crime he had committed.
Nepal’s federalism has three levels: Center, states and local. The president is the titular head of state and the prime minister is the chief executive. States have governors and chief ministers. Local levels have mayors and administrative officers.
