A professional singer charged $1000 an hour. Her rate increase by 50% after midnight. If she performs one night from 8:30pm to 1
otez555 [7]
First we need to find out what her increase is so 50% of 1000 is is 500 so from 12am to 1am she made
1500
from 830 to 12 am gives us 4 1/2 hours so she got paid 4500 for those hours adding on the past 12am and we get

6000 as the total amount she made

Given the Standard Form equation y - 6x = 4
malfutka [58]

Answer: 6 is the slope and 4 is the y-intercept.

Step-by-step explanation:

Based on the question, I feel this is the best way to answer your question. I'm assuming you are in a basic graphing class.

The best, most useful thing for you right now would be to learn slope-intercept form, y = mx + b, where m and b are constants.

Simply add 6x to both sides to get into this form

y = 6x + 4.

In slope-intercept form, m is the slope, and b is the y-intercept. Thus, 6 is the slope and 4 is the y-intercept.

Hope it helps and lmk if you need more <3 :)

In the diagram mz3= x+ 30 and mz4 =2x-80. What is the measure of angle 3?
Andreas93 [3]

Given:

Consider the below figure attached with this question.

m\angle 3=(x+30)^\circ and m\angle 4=(2x-80)^\circ.

To find:

The measure of angle 3.

Solution:

From the below figure it is clear that, angle 3 and angle 4 are vertically opposite angles.

We know that, vertically opposite angles are always equal. So,

m\angle 3=m\angle 4

(x+30)^\circ=(2x-80)^\circ

x+30=2x-80

x-2x=-30-80

-x=-110

x=110

Now,

m\angle 3=(110+30)^\circ

m\angle 3=140^\circ

Therefore, the measure of angle 3 is 140 degrees.

A principal of $1,000 is invested in an account paying an annual interest rate of 6%.
Evgesh-ka [11]

A(t) = P(1+(r/n))^(nt)

A(5) = 1000(1+0.12/2)^(2*5)

A(5) = 1000(1.06)^(10)

A(5) = $1790.85
