Step-by-step explanation:

Perimeter of a rectangle = 2l + 2w

where

l is the length

w is the width

From the question

The length is 3x + 7

The width is 2x + 2

The perimeter is

<h3>2( 3x + 7) + 2( 2x + 2)</h3>

Simplify

6x + 7 + 4x + 4

Group like terms

6x + 4x + 7 + 4

We have the final answer as

<h3>10x + 11</h3>

Hope this helps you

A midwestern music competition awarded 38 ribbons. The number of blue ribbons awarded was 1 less than the number of white ribbon
Artist 52 [7]
Starting from what I know (the difference between ribbons), I decided to go from the bottom and work my way up. I then noticed a pattern (each sum was three more of the previous one), and decided to keep my pattern of the three numbers but not have to do any major mental work and instead add three to the previous sum until I got to 38.

A hot tub has capacity of 1458 liters 487 liters and 750 ml were put in how much more needs to be put in
Colt1911 [192]
Well the easiest way we can do it is convert liters in to milliliters and since there are 1000 milliliters in a liter multiply 1458 by 1000 and 487 by 1000 which will get you 1458000 milliliters of capacity and the 487 liters turns into 487000 mililiters we add this to the 750 milliliters  to get 487750 milliliters. Now it is all a matter of subtracting to find out how much more needs to be put in. 1458000-487750=970250  milliliters. So the amount needed to fill the hot tub is 970250 ml or if you want to convert it back to liters 970.250 l

Solve the equation: \frac{2}{3}t=\frac{5}{9} (hint: reciprocal)
Aleks04 [339]

Given:

\frac{2}{3}t=\frac{5}{9}\text{ We know that the reciprocal of }\frac{2}{3}\text{ is }\frac{3}{2}\text{.}

Multiply both sides by 3/2, we get

\frac{3}{2}\times\frac{2}{3}t=\frac{3}{2}\times\frac{5}{9}

Cancel out the common multiples, we get

t=\frac{1}{2}\times\frac{5}{3}

t=\frac{1\times5}{2\times3}

t=\frac{5}{6}

The solution of the given equation is

t=\frac{5}{6}

or

t=0.8333.

What number is q in the problem -8-q-10q=-9q+6
uranmaximum [27]
For this question you can say:
-8 -11q = -9q +6
so now you can add +9q on both sides and +8 on both sides of the equation:
-11q + 9q = 8 + 6
-2q = 14
q = 14/-2
q = -7 :)))
I hope this is helpful
