First, I know that for 2 cups of raisins for every 9 cups of trail mix and I am going to divide, 9÷2 and got 4.5 so for every cup of raisins, I need to multiply it by 4.5 to get how much trail mix I had in total so I need to multiply 12× 4.5. to get my answer so 12×4.5=54 so I had 54 cups of trail mix.

I hope this helped

So ratio si 2 to 9 or 2:9
so 12 cups of rasins to x cups of trail mix
ratio is 12 to x or 12:x

it has to be the same ratio so makek fractions and
2/9=12/x
solve for x
mulitply both sides by x
2x/9=12
multiply both sides by 9
2x=108
divide by 2
x=54
answer is 54 cups of trail mix

?Eric conducted an experiment in his science class and recorded the data in a table.
Vitek1552 [10]

The constant of proportionality that relates the distance traveled to the elapsed time represented by this data will be 6.

What is the linear system?

A linear system is one in which the parameter in the equation has a degree of one. It might have one, two, or even more variables.

Eric conducted an experiment in his science class and recorded the data in a table.

Eric’s science experiment, time (seconds), 3, 6, 9, 12, 15, 18, distance (ft), 18, 36, 54, 72, 90, 108.

Let x be the time and y be the distance.

Let the distance and time be linear to each other. Then the linear equation is given as

y -  36 = [(36 - 18) / (6 - 3)] (x - 6)

y - 36 = 6 (x - 6)

       y = 36 + 6x - 36

       y = 6x

Then the constant of proportionality that relates the distance traveled to the elapsed time represented by this data will be 6.

More about the linear system link is given below.
