So ratio si 2 to 9 or 2:9 so 12 cups of rasins to x cups of trail mix ratio is 12 to x or 12:x
it has to be the same ratio so makek fractions and 2/9=12/x solve for x mulitply both sides by x 2x/9=12 multiply both sides by 9 2x=108 divide by 2 x=54 answer is 54 cups of trail mix
