Answer:

WHAT sort of creature is the human? The obvious answer is a smart, talkative, upright ape with a penchant for material possessions.

But what about the more subtle concept of human nature? That is more controversial. Some deny it exists, preferring to believe that we can be anything we want to be. They cannot be right.

Although we exhibit lots of individual and cultural variations, humans are animals, and like all animals we have idiosyncrasies, quirks and characteristics that distinguish us as a species. An invading alien would have no trouble categorising us but, being so close to our subject matter, we struggle to pin down the essence of humanness.

Nevertheless, the task may not be beyond us. Anthropologists have identified many “human universals” – characteristics shared by all people everywhere, which constitute a sort of parts list of our species. What if we were to use these to examine the human animal in the same way we would study any other?

As the following articles reveal, what emerges is a suite of characteristics that encapsulate our nature – and a rather peculiar one it proves to be. If you thought you knew what humans were like, then think again.

Just to be honest, most humans are not good by nature. Yes, most of them are not, but believe me, when you think there aren't any good ones, there are. I have a "grandma" and I say it that way because she's not actually related to me at all, but I just call her that. She is super nice, and caring and never curses, unlike every, single, person in my family. She never criticizes and always supports people. And don't let the that make you think that only old people are good by nature because that's also not true. I have a friend, who is super loyal and also never puts anyone down, and just overall does nothing bad or negative. And that's also not to say that "shes just not showing her true self" because she does, she drools when she sleeps, and burps around me, and has feelings about other people like everyone does, but doesn't put anyone down and keeps to herself. She helps people in need, and would stay up all night to talk you out of sui.cide.

PLEASE HELP FAST!!!!!!!! What is Renesmee's power? Why do the Volturi want to kill Renesmee at first?
Rina8888 [55]

She has the power to break through mental shields (opposite of bella's power), and project her visions thoughts into others by making physical contact with them.

the Voltaire wants to kill her at first because they thought she was a child that had been turned into a vampire which are uncontrollable but really she was born half vampire, half human.

CLOSE FRIENDS
Luden [163]

The question requires that we fill up the blank spaces with the correct words. Find the completed passage below:

 • British people have a reputation for being rather quiet and reserved. However, a new study has (1) revealed that Britons are actually quite sociable and the (2) average person claims to have 14 close friends. Although a minority of those questioned (3) admitted that they had no best friend, a quarter said that they had more than 18 close friends. Experts said that this is (4) due to changes in the way people (5) spend their free time. They are now more (6) likely to invite friends to their homes or go out socializing than previous generations. The increasing use of mobile phones and emails has also made it easier to (7) keep up with a greater number of friendships. Men's relationships are not (8) deep though they tend to have more friends. Women, (9) on the other hand prefer to have a small number of friends they can trust (10) totally, and with whom they can feel completely at (11) ease. The idea that people in the north of England are more neighborly than those in the south seems to be backed (12) up by the survey. However, despite having friends, it seems that family still (13) plays an important part in most people's lives. When asked who they would (14) turn to for help if they were ill or had a problem, the majority said that they would (15) call upon a relative first rather than a friend.

To correctly fill up the blank space, study the passage, and understand the context clues.

These clues will provide insight into the right verbs and prepositions to be fixed in the blank spaces.

How do u write a triac
skelet666 [1.2K]

Answer: TRIAC paragraphs (or paragraph sequences) feature these elements: Topic. Start the paragraph by introducing a topic that supports or complicates your thesis – the central problem or idea that the paragraph aims to explore. Better topic sentences function as a mini-thesis and make a claim about the topic.
