Explanation:

Due to the impact between the wars there was a tremondous change to the American culutes. As in it was largely fuled by Prohibition and the Great Depression.  Also the popularity of jazz grew in the Prohibition area.  Also with the beginning of films and music. Also women gained a greater voice and in middle classs society through enrollmenrt in universities and colleges. They largerely remained in gendered roles.

The Great Depression in the 1930's greatly increased the numbers of homeless families. Also the terrible health conditions and the spread of illness in the dust bowl.
