Answer:

The correct answer would be option A and B.

Many students spend their summers out of the heat.

Students who are used to the heat are less likely to have heat illness

Explanation:

Heat Acclimatization is simply the adaptation of the body according to the environmental conditions prevailing or happening around the body. For example, an organism may expose to cold weather, or hot weather, or humidity, or dusty environment, anything like this, then the organism's body adapts itself according to the environmental conditions. For example, if a person walks over the hills where oxygen level are less than the normal, the human body transports more oxygen in the blood than normal.

So heat acclimatization is important because in summer, many students remain in heat under the sun to play around, and due to this heat Acclimatization, their bodies adapt themselves according to the condition.

Also, Students who are used to the heat are less likely to have heat illness. For example, the students who play sports and remain under the sun for longer hours in their daily routines, are also less likely to get ill because of the heat, as their bodies' acclimatization is already active and the bodies are already adapting according to the external environment.

Answer:

The correct answer is option (A) and (B).

Explanation:

Heat acclimatisation is important as it allows the adaptation of body to excessive heat. Most of the students spend their summers out in heat and this acclimatisation will help them to survive in the condition. The students who regularly live in a warm environment have the higher chances to adapt better and have less heat illness.

Further explanation:

  • Acclimatisation may be defined as the phenomena by which an individual tries to adapt according to its external environment such as at high latitude, excessive cold or heat and pH condition.
  • The organism that has not previously experienced the change in environment condition when faces unfavourable environment condition,  tries to change and adapt to it.
  • The individual changes its physiology and morphology to adapt to its habitat. The organism can decrease or increase its metabolism according to its habitat.
  • Acclimatisation is seen in plants as wells as animals. Animals like sheep grow thick wool in case of excessive cold.
  • Acclimatisation in humans can be seen in hot condition by decreasing the salt content and urine output.
  • Acclimatisation at high altitude can be done by increasing the rate of breathing and number of red blood cells. This increases the oxygen carrying capacity in the body.

A person that drinks alcohol every night but does not think they have a problem, is in what stage of change?
Juli2301 [7.4K]

In other words, their drinking may have a purely cognitive cause.  “moderation management”. Over time, a brain chronically exposed to alcohol also loses its ability to produce and use dopamine, one of the main chemicals that makes humans feel “good” or euphoric. The addicted brain is addicted. And it’s not one or two drinks the addicted brain wants.
