For any two resistors in Parallel you can use the formula for total resistance as;

R total   =  Product / Sum

Rt    =  (R₁R₂) / (R₁+ R₂)          R₁ = 2000,  R₂ = 4200

Rt =  (2000*4200) / (2000 + 4200)   Use calculator.

     =  1354.8

Total resistance = 1355    C.

If a ball is given a push so that it has an initial velocity of 5 m/s down a certain inclined plane, then the distance it has ro
iren [92.7K]

Answer:

v= 13 m/s

Explanation:

Velocity is defined as the derivative of displacement with respect to time

v= ds/dt

Known data

s(t) = 5t + 2t²  : distance that the ball has rolled after t seconds

vi= 5 m/s : initial velocity

t= 2 s

Problem develoment

s(t) = 5t + 2t²

v= ds/dt= 5 + 4t : velocity of the ball in function of the time

We replace t =2 s in the equation of velocity

v= 5 + 4(2)

v= 13 m/s : velocity after 2 seconds

A motor has a rotor (with armature) of moment of inertia ????m . The rotor is attached to a gear box of gear ratio G > 1. The
Inessa [10]

Answer:

hello your question is incomplete attached below is the complete question

answer : The moment of inertial felt by someone ( J ) is greater that the moment of inertia felt by the motor  i.e. J > Jm

Explanation:

Gear ratio G > 1

a) Determine the moment of inertia felt by the motor

moment of inertia felt by Motor = moment of Inertia at the armature

b) Determine the moment of inertial felt by someone who is rotating the mass by hand

moment of inertia felt by someone is = J

The moment of inertial felt by someone ( J ) is greater that the moment of inertia felt by the motor

attached below is a detailed solution
