Angle(<)K and <L are complementary angles. If m<K = 3x+3 and m<L = 10x-4, find the measures of both angles.

3x+3 + 10x-4 +90 (because complementary angle add up to 90)

13x-1+90 (add 1)

13x/13=91 (divide 13 on both sides)

x=7

now you fill in 7 for x

m<K=24 and m<L=66

Answer:

m∠K is 24° and m∠L is 66°

Step-by-step explanation:

Since, two angles are complementary if their sum is equal to 90°,

Given,

m∠K = 3x + 3

m∠L = 10x - 4

∵ ∠K and ∠L are complementary angles,

So, by the above statement,

m\angle K+m\angle L = 90^{\circ}

3x+3+10x-4=90

13x-1=90

13x=91

\implies x=7

Hence, the measures of angle K = 3(7) + 3 = 21 + 3 = 24°,

And, the measures of angle L = 10(7) - 4 = 70 - 4 = 66°

A sphere has a volume of V=900 in cubed. What is the surface area?
ycow [4]
First, we must solve for the radius of the sphere:
V=\frac{4}{3}\pir^{3}
r=(3\frac{V}{4 \pi })^{ \frac{1}{3} }
r=(3*\frac{900}{4 \pi })^{ \frac{1}{3} }
r≈5.99

Second, we must solve for surface area:
A=4\pir^{2}
A=4*\pi*5.99^{2}
A≈450.88 in^{2}

Solve graphically the inequality \[ x ≥ 2 \]
Xelga [282]

1) Graph the corresponding equation \( x = 2 \); this will split the plane into two regions. One of the region represents the solution set.

2) Select a point situated in any of the two regions obtained and test the inequality. If the point selected is a solution, then all the region is the solution set. If the selected point is not a solution, then the other (second) region represents the solution set.

3) Test: In this example, let us for example select the point with coordinates (3 , 2) which is in the region to the right of the line x = 2. If you substitute x in the inequality \( x ≥ 2 \) by 3 it becomes \( 3 ≥ 2 \) which is a true statement and therefore (3 , 2) is a solution. Hence, we can conclude that the region to the right of the vertical line x = 2 is a solution set including the line itself which is shown as a solid line because of the inequality symbol \( ≥ \) contains the \( = \) symbol. The solution set is represented by the blue hash region in the graph below including the line x = 2.

5/8 of an inch in percent
Dovator [93]
<h2>Greetings!</h2>

Answer:

62.5%

Step-by-step explanation:

To find the percentage, you simply need to divide the number on top by the number on bottom and multiply by 100:

5 ÷ 8 = 0.625

0.625 x 100 = 62.5

So the percentage is 62.5%!
