OK so first I like to find what 10% is which in this case would be 1.8 and to find the other 5% you divide 1.8 by 2 which gets you .9 if you and 1.8 and .9 you get 2.7 and if you add 2.7 to 18 you get 20.7 which is your retail price

Each statement describes a transformation of the graph of f(x) = x. Which statement correctly describes the graph of g(x) if g(x
Tatiana [17]

Answer:

reflection over the x-axis and a vertical compression by a factor of 8

Step-by-step explanation:

The parent function is given as

f(x) = x

The transformed graph has equation:

g(x) =  - 8f(x)

The factor of 8, indicates a vertical stretch.

The negative sign indicates a reflection in the x-axis.

Therefore the transformation is a reflection over the x-axis and a vertical compression by a factor of 8.

Alona [7]

\huge\boxed{L^\prime(0, -1)}

To rotate a point around the origin by 180 degrees, multiply both parts of the coordinate point by -1. (This means you go from (x, y) to (-x, -y).)

L(0, 1)

L^\prime(0*(-1), 1*(-1))\\\boxed{L^\prime(0, -1)}
