The answer is 3)
Just sub any number you want into the equation and calculate it.
For example of 3)
When m=1
Left hand size=1+3-4+12=12
Right hand size=-1x4=-4
Left hand size≠Right hand size
It is incorrect.

The moon is about 240,000 miles from earth what is the order of magnitude of this number
Olenka [21]
The order of magnitude is calculated by use of log function. log(240000) = 5.38 so the order is 5 (from what I've see we round down even if it was 5.999 but this may be wrong in some cases).

Let f(x)=20/(1+9)^(e3x)
lys-0071 [83]
There's an error in your version of the function.  Compare yours to the original post.

Consider what happens to this function as x becomes increasingly large:
the denominator grows quickly and without bound.  The numerator stays the same.  In such a situation, the function goes to zero as x increases.  Thus, y = 0 is the horiz. asympt.  The denom. is never zero, so there are no vert. asymp.

Multiply.<br> (3x+ 5)(3х - 5)
densk [106]

Answer:

9x^2-25

Step-by-step explanation:

You can solve this problem by using FOIL:

    - FOIL (First, Outer, Inner, Last)

First: 3x*3x= 9x^2

Outer: 3x*-5= -15x

Inner: 3x*5 = 15x

Last: 5*-5= -25

Now add what we got together:

9x^2 -15x +15x -25

Answer: 9x^2 - 25

Note: Whenever when we see conjugates(coefficients of variables are same but real numbers are opposites) like these we can ignore the outer and inner of the foil process as they cancel out.

Hope this helps!

Denise earns $30 an hour. She works 40 hours per week. Denise would like to purchase a computer that costs $2000. Create and sol
Tatiana [17]

Answer:

<h2>67hours hours</h2>

Step-by-step explanation:

Given

she works $30 for 1 hour

in 40 hours she will earn 40*30= $1200

this means that a week she earns $1200

let the number of  weeks she needs to work be x

40x*(30)<=2000

1200x<=2000

x<=2000/1200

x<=1.66

the number of hours in a week is 40

40*1.66=66.66

67hours

hence she must work for at least 67hours
