Pls Help! How would you evaluate President Bush's decision to go to war in Afghanistan and Iraq?
adell [148]
It was a bad decision on his part. Some may say his decision was good at the beginning but ultimately he made the choice to stay at war which led to a bad turn of events. Millions of dollars were spent on this and it wasn't even really successful, so I believe that was a poor decision.

What is one way a command economy affects the lives of private citizens
Ulleksa [173]
Let's take a look at some command economies: today: North Korea

In the past: The Soviet Union.

We can see that in both cases the countries failed to provide enough food and supplies for their citizens, so one way that command economies influence the citizens of the countries that had them was by inducing hunger.  (the same is not true of mixed economies, or not always true).

Which of the following was an effect of nativism in the United States in the 1920s?
bearhunter [10]
First question: D- people who were living in America at the time, didn't want other people to come in and "steal their jobs". To me, nativism (at the time) was a pretty stupid thing, considering how many of the people who didn't want anyone else coming into the country, were immigrants themselves.

Second question: D is the closest answer, seeing as Roosevelt wanted to improve relations with Central and South America.

Hope this helps!

How did many workers respond to the contrast between the rich<br> and poor?
denis23 [38]
In the late 1800s, workers organized unions to solve their problems. Their problems were low wages and unsafe working conditions. First, workers formed local unions in single factories. These unions used strikes to try to force employers to increase wages or make working conditions safer.
