The people that were subordinate to the Aztecs had multiple reasons to rebel against them and help the Europeans when they arrived, the two biggest reasons being:

<em>1. Aztec rule with force and intimidation</em>

The Aztecs were very brutal, and in order to put the subordinate tribes in control they very using force and intimidation on regular basis, and that was not seen fondly at all, so there was a lot of despise against them.

<em>2. The Aztecs demanded too big of a tribute</em>

Apart from being brutal, the Aztecs demanded very large tributes by the subordinate tribes. The tributes included food, labor force, soldiers, and people for sacrifice for their gods.

In relation to the video “What Most Schools Don’t Teach,” the authors mention Jane Margolis’ “unease” (paragraph 3, sentence 1)
diamong [38]

Answer:

C. rebut the video’s premise about the steps required to make programming skills more widespread

Explanation:

Answer C

Correct. According to the passage, Margolis feels “unease” because the video fails to acknowledge that not everyone has access to certain “fundamental factors” required to learn programming. By bringing up Margolis’ unease, the authors rebut the video’s implicit assumption that making coding seem more desirable (for example, by portraying it as fun or lucrative) is an effective step for increasing the number of people who actually do learn to code.
