Charlie was carrying around the steps to solve Square root of 6x plus 4 = 8. On his way through the Math Factory, Charlie droppe

d them and they mixed with other steps. Put the correct steps in order to solve Square root of 6x plus 4 = 8. A. Divide by 2 from both sides B. Square root both sides C. Divide by 6 from both sides D. Subtract 4 from both sides E. Subtract 8 from both sides F. Square both sides First A, then F, then E First B, then D, then C First D, then C, then F First F, then D, then C

Answer: Order will be F,D,C and Fourth Option is correct and  x = 10

Step-by-step explanation:

Since we have given that

\sqrt{6x+4}=8

We first transpose the square root to the right , so it becomes square of 8,i.e.

6x+4=8^2\\\\6x+4=64

Now, transpose 4 to the right so it will get subtract from 64 i.e.

6x=64-4\\\\6x=60

Since 6 is multiplied to x on tranposing it will get divided by 60 i.e.

x=\frac{60}{6}\\\\x=10

Hence, on simplification, we get x=10.

Hence , the order is F,D,C.

Can someone help me? Brainliest + Points!

Answer:

D. \frac{2}{5}

Step-by-step explanation:

Since we know that the odds of an events can be found by dividing the probability that an event will occur by the probability that the event will not occur.

\text{Odds of an event}=\frac{\text{Probability that event will occur}}{\text{Probability that event will not occur}}

Probability of an event not occurring can be found by subtracting probability of the event occurring from 1.

\text{Odds of an event}=\frac{\text{Probability that event will occur}}{1-\text{Probability that event will occur} }

We have been given that probability of an event is 2/7.

Upon substituting our given values in above formula we will get,

\text{Odds of the given event}=\frac{\frac{2}{7}}{1-\frac{2}{7}} }

\text{Odds of the given event}=\frac{\frac{2}{7}}{\frac{7-2}{7}} }

\text{Odds of the given event}=\frac{\frac{2}{7}}{\frac{5}{7}} }

\text{Odds of the given event}=\frac{2}{7}\times \frac{7}{5}

\text{Odds of the given event}=\frac{2}{5}

Therefore, the odds of the same event are \frac{2}{5} and option D is the correct choice.
