The answer is D:
180 - 108 = 72
72 ÷ 2 = 36

To check our answer:
108 ÷ 36 = 3
so 108 is 3 times as much as 36, which was the other 2 months.

Complete the ordered pair for the given equation. (_,-1);y=-3/5x-7
Fiesta28 [93]
Hi!

So for this problem, we're given the y-coordinate and we can plug that in for y in the equation. So let's do that

-1 = -3/5x - 7
6 = -3/5x
30 = -3x
-10 = x

The missing coordinate would be x, assuming that the equation was y = (-3/5)x - 7

The product of 5 and a number n is at least 25
Crazy boy [7]
5n≥25
and if you divide 5 on both sides, n≥5 (I don't know if you are supposed to solve or simply put it in the equation form).

Product refers to multiplication. so 5 and n are being multiplied in the equation.
However, instead of using an equal sign, the sign for "greater than or equal to" must be used. "At least" is a term equivalent to "greater than or equal to".

Art [367]

Answer:

17 \le t \le 28

Step-by-step explanation:

Given

t = 22\frac{1}{2} --- average time

\triangle t = 5\frac{1}{2} --- the variation

Required

The inequality to represent the scenario

To do this, we simply add and subtract the variation from the average time.

i.e.

t \± \triangle t

So, the inequality is:

22\frac{1}{2} - 5\frac{1}{2} \le t \le 22\frac{1}{2} + 5\frac{1}{2}

Solve:

17 \le t \le 28
