I just learned about this!

How to get Number 1: This closed circle represents it is more than or equal to 4. so it should be x ≥ 4.

How to get number 2: This circle is open which means it is NOT equal to or close to the number so it should be x≠-4. Because you don't know how much x is and the lines and arrows represent it is not equal.

Number 3: The first option is the correct one as it says clearly x is less than -3 so it should be a open circle.

Number 4: The 2nd one is right because x is less than -1 or equal to -1.

An isosceles trapezoid has a perimeter of 37 centimeters. Its shorter base measures 3 centimeters and its longer base measures 4
koban [17]

Given:

An isosceles trapezoid has a perimeter of 37 centimeters. Its shorter base measures 3 centimeters and its longer base measures 4 centimeters. The two remaining sides have the same length.

We need to determine the lengths.

Length of the remaining sides:

Let the length of the sides of the isosceles trapezoid be x.

Let a be the length of the shorter base.

Let b be the length of the longer base.

Thus, we have;

a=3, b=4

The formula to determine the length of the sides is given by

Perimeter = a+b+c+d

Substituting the values, we get;

37=3+4+x+x

37=7+2x

30=2x

15=x

Thus, the length of the sides of the isosceles trapezoid is 15 centimeters.

What logarithmic graph can be used to approximate the value of y in the equation 5^y=12
Pie

Answer:

y = log base 5 (x) or log5(12)

Step-by-step explanation:

x = 5^y and y = log5(x) are inverses.

The solution can be found by approximating log5(12).
