Ok, you multiply 3636 by 3, because you read that many pages for the first 3 days. you do the same for 4444.

3636*3=10,908
4444*3=13,332
Then you add.

10,908+13,332=24,240
Then you add 1010.

24,240+1010=25,250
There were 25,250 pages in the book. Hope it helps!

fgiga [73]

Ok so we know he used over 700 because he was charged more than 40. Then we take the $8.10 and divide 0.45 into it. This then gives you 18 more minutes. Then add 18 to 700 and you get 718 min.

In order to solve for the variable in the equation 2 (4 x + 3) + 4 = 3 x minus (2 x + 4), Giovanni first applies the distributiv
Alenkinab [10]

Answer:

8x + 6 + 4 = 3x - (2x + 4)

Step-by-step explanation:

When Gio applies the distributive property, the equation above is the result. Naturally, I look at the 1st parenthesis I see and start the 1st distributive property there first. The 2nd distributive property would be the other parenthesis where you multiply by -1, so you would get 8x + 6 + 4 = 3x - 2x - 4

What is the volume (in cubic centimeters) of a cube with 4cm sides?
vova2212 [387]
I think it is 64 just multiply 4 times 4 times 4 because of the sides and to find volume you need to multiply the sides and the height so it should be 64.

Find the scale factor of the smaller figure to the larger figure
guapka [62]

Answer:

#9: 1.2

#10: 1.25

Step-by-step explanation:

To find the scale factor of the smaller figure to the larger figure, we're going to be dividing the measurements of corresponding edges.

\frac{larger figure}{smaller figure}

If you wanted to find the scale factor of the larger figure to the smaller figure, you'd do: \frac{smaller figure}{larger figure}

Question #9:

Left edges: \frac{larger figure}{smaller figure} ⇒ \frac{24}{20} = 1.2

Bottom edges: \frac{larger figure}{smaller figure} ⇒ \frac{30}{25} = 1.2

<em>(You should get the same number as long as the figures are similar.)</em>

<em />

Question #10:

Bottom edges: \frac{larger figure}{smaller figure} ⇒ \frac{30}{24} = 1.25

<em>(There are no corresponding edges with measurements that we can compare.)</em>
